Residential Trash Collection
Allied Waste Services of Corvallis provides residential service in the Corvallis area.
Residential service includes 1 time per week waste pick up, weekly curbside recycling service and
bi-weekly yard debris collection in most areas. Please call 541-754-0444 for more information or click
the Request Service link. Collection begins
at 7:00 a.m., so it may be convenient for you to set your refuse out the evening before pick-up day.
Special Pick ups and Enhanced Special Pick ups
Allied Waste offers Special clean up services for those times when you have excess trash that just won't fit
into a residential trash container. If you don't know what to do with an item of are not sure how to handle it,
call us, we'll be glad to help. Furniture and appliances are just a few examples. We can also help clean out
whole rooms or buildings. We will haul away to trash and even sweep up for you. Call our office to get an
estimate on our Enhanced Special Pick up Service.
Residential Trash Collection Rates
(apply within the cities of Corvallis and Philomath, rural rates may be slightly higher)

- 90-gallon, 65-gallon, 32-gallon & 20-gallon
(a 32-gallon cart with an insert to allow it to hold 20-gallons)

Residential Yard Carts/Composters (in most areas)
- City residents of Corvallis, Philomath and Monroe: If you choose, a yard debris container
can be delivered to weekly garbage service customers at no charge.
- One 90-gallon cart with every other week collection or a home composter is available
upon request at no additional charge for weekly garbage customers.
- Containers must be placed at curb to be emptied.

What goes in the yard debris cart?
- Lawn clippings, brush, limbs, tree trimmings and prunings.
What cannot go in the yard debris cart?
- Dirt/gravel, paper/ plastic trash, metal or rubber objects, stumps / logs, rocks / bricks.
- In town customers can opt for a home composter instead of a yard debris cart, or choose
to pay $6.00 per month to have both.
- Weekly customers outside of our yard debris service area can
request a home composter at no charge.
Remember: If it doesn’t grow, it doesn’t go!
Curbside Recycling (in most areas)
- 65-gallon commingle recycle carts with weekly collection are available upon
request at no additional charge.
- Glass is collected on the first fill week of the month, in a bin provided by Allied Waste.
- Commingled recycling carts are provided to residents with or without weekly garbage service.

Temporary Containers
Temporary containers are available in 11/2 cubic yard size for most customers within the city limits.
- Excessive Weight: Containers loaded with heavy debris (dirt, concrete, asphalt, shingles)
weighing more than 500 lbs/yard may be subject to an additional fee per dump.
Will Call Service
This service is for the customer who needs less than 1 can picked up each week. Customer
is required to call our office to schedule each pick-up. Rate applies to each pick-up.
Moving
When you move from one location to another within our service area, be sure to notify
us in advance so your service can continue without interruption. If you move out of the area,
a call to the office will terminate your service.
Vacation
If you will be away for more than two weeks, you may call in advance to have your account
credited for the time gone.
Holiday Schedule
Our drivers take Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years off. If your regular service day falls
on one of these holidays, your trash, recycling and yard debris will be collected on the day
following the holiday. All service for the remainder of the week will be one day late. We do
work on Saturdays during these holiday weeks, so if your regular service day is Friday,
your carts will be emptied on Saturday.
Drop Boxes
Drop boxes are available for projects that generate large amounts of refuse.
30-yard boxes are the most popular size.
- 30-yard box (20’ x 8’ x 7’)
Service includes delivery, three days use and pick-up. Call our office for pricing.
Security Storage Units
Portable lockable storage units are available. Great for construction projects, storage, etc.
Household Hazardous Waste Events
Quarterly in February, May, August and November. Free to the public, there is a charge for business
customers. Bring: herbicides, pesticides, paints, solvents, automoblie fluids, batteries, electronics,
flourescent light tubes and bulbs and anything labeled hazardous, poisonous, caution or danger.

Spring Recycle Event
Free to the public, this event, held in April allows area residents to bring large amounts of brush,
wood, scrap metals and other recyclable materials.
