Can I pay my bill online?

Do you take large items and when?

When you call our office 24 hours in advance of your pickup day, we can usually pick up heavy items on your regular service day (sometimes with a different vehicle). There is a nominal fee for the special pickup based on the type of item.

Does the trash inside the cart have to bagged?

No, all material in the trash cart must fit in the cart so that the lid closes all the way. It may be loose or held within a bag.

How many carts are we allowed to have?

One cart for trash and one cart each for commingled recycling and yard debris (where available) will be provided. Extra carts are available for an additional fee.

I have heard various names for your company. Why is that?

Our company has operated under the name Allied Waste Services of Corvallis since 2005. We are a Republic Services company, but continue to operate under the Allied Waste name.

Is my recycling material collected on the same day as the trash?

Commingled recycling is collected on the same day as trash. Glass is collected on the same day of the week as your trash service, but is collected one time per month on the first full week of the month.

What do you accept for curbside recycling?

What happens when my home service day falls on a holiday?

We work all holidays except:

New Years, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If your regular service day falls on one of these holidays, collection will be one day later for the remainder of the week. We will provide service on Saturday's on these weeks only.

What if we have extra bags?

Please call our office 24 hours in advance to advise us of the extra trash. There will be an extra charge for additional bags of trash.

What is your holiday schedule?

We provide regular collection service on ALL HOLIDAYS except the following. Please have carts or the night before, on other holidays.

What time does the trash have to be out at the curb?

All refuse must be placed at the curb by 7.00 a.m. on your collection day.

What will you not pick up ?

animal carcasses
manure

dirt

rock
brick
lead, acid/wet cell batteries
railroad ties
toxic materials
bio-hazardous materials or waste
propane/oxygen/helium tanks
items containing gas or oil
explosives
live ammunition or weapons

…or any items that cannot be safely loaded by our crews for removal or any items that may damage our hauling equipment

Where should my cart be placed if I have a bike lane in front of my home?

Carts should be placed in the area between the curb and bike lane, leaving the bike lane clear for bike traffic. If there is no space between the bike lane and curb, please place carts on the curb, creating a safe lane for cyclists.
